How to integrate with Klaviyo – Videowise

The person creating the key needs the Owner, Admin, or Manager role in Klaviyo.

How. to create the key

Open this link bellow while logged into the Klaviyo account you want to connect. It opens the create-key screen with the required permissions already selected: Create a Videowise Klaviyo key

If that link does not open the form, go to Settings → API keys → Create Private API Key yourself.

Name the key something you will recognize later, such as Videowise.

Select Custom key access.

Set Lists, Profiles, and Subscriptions to Full access. Leave everything else on No access.

Click Create.

Copy the key immediately. It starts with pk_ and Klaviyo shows it only once. If you lose it, create a new key. You cannot view or edit this one later.

Paste the new “Private API Key” value inside “API Key” in Videowise Store Admin → Settings → Integrations → Email & SMS → Klaviyo → Connect

Use the private key (pk_…), not the 6-character public API key shown on the same settings page.

Why do I need a Private API Key to connect Klaviyo to Videowise?
